BrighterHome’s laundry service is in-home washing, drying and folding for $25 per load, done in your laundry room with your own washer and dryer. You can add laundry to any cleaning visit, or book a standalone laundry visit with a three-load minimum ($75). Folded clothes are left sorted by person or put away where you show us, and we change bed linens with fresh sheets you leave out.
To be upfront about what this is and isn’t: we don’t pick up or deliver laundry, we don’t take it to a laundromat, and we don’t offer ironing or dry cleaning. It’s a simple, in-home service for busy Woodlands households where the cleaning gets done but the laundry piles keep winning. Most clients add two or three loads to a recurring cleaning so towels, sheets and the week’s clothes are handled on the same visit.

How in-home laundry service works
We do your laundry in your home, using your machines, while you’re at work or out for the day. There are two ways to book it:
- Add-on during a cleaning visit. Choose “Laundry (per load)” when you book any clean. We start the first load when we arrive and rotate loads while we clean the rest of the house. Add-on loads are $25 each with no minimum.
- Standalone laundry visit. Just laundry, no cleaning. Three-load minimum ($75), and most visits are three to five loads.
Because we use your washer and dryer, the number of loads that fit in a visit depends on your machines’ cycle times. A typical modern pair runs a wash-and-dry cycle in roughly 90 minutes, so during a standard three-hour clean, two or three loads is realistic. If you have a larger pile, a standalone visit gives us the time to work through it.
Leave clothes in hampers, tell us about anything special — a sports uniform that needs cold water, a sweater that air-dries — and we’ll handle the rest.
Laundry service cost in The Woodlands
Laundry is $25 per load, whether it’s added to a clean or booked on its own (three-load minimum for standalone visits). A “load” is one full wash-and-dry cycle in your machines.
| How you book | Price | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Add-on to any cleaning visit | $25 per load | None |
| Standalone laundry visit | $25 per load | 3 loads ($75) |
| Bed linen change | Included with laundry | Fresh sheets left out |
A few things affect your total. Oversized items such as comforters, mattress pads and dog beds usually take a full load on their own, and a family of five generates far more loads per week than a couple. If you aren’t sure how many loads you have, count your full hampers: one standard hamper is roughly one load. Recurring discounts apply to the cleaning portion of a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visit, not to laundry loads. Want to see how laundry fits with a cleaning price? What we don’t include
Ironing, pickup and delivery, dry cleaning and stain treatment beyond basic pre-treating are not part of our laundry service. We’d rather say that clearly than leave you guessing.
- No ironing or pressing. We hang shirts straight from the dryer to minimize wrinkles, but we don’t iron.
- No pickup or delivery. Everything stays in your home and is washed in your machines.
- No dry-clean-only or hand-wash-only items. We set these aside for you.
- No guaranteed stain removal. We’ll pre-treat obvious spots with your stain remover if you leave it out, but set-in stains may not come out.
- No commercial or bulk laundry. For short-term rentals, see below.
If you need ironing or dry cleaning, a local dry cleaner is the right call — and we’re happy to bag those items and leave them by the door so they’re ready for your drop-off.
Laundry for Airbnb and short-term rentals
If your rental has a washer and dryer on site, we can run linens and towels during a turnover at the same $25 per load. Many hosts around Lake Conroe and The Woodlands keep a second set of sheets so beds can be made with clean linens right away while the used set washes. Turnovers are a separate service — see Airbnb cleaning — and our Lake Conroe turnover checklist covers how hosts plan linen rotations. For back-to-back same-day check-ins, a spare linen set matters more than anything else; washing and drying a king set and a stack of towels takes time no cleaner can shortcut.
If the property has no washer and dryer, we can’t take linens off-site, so hosts in that situation typically use a commercial linen service and we make the beds with what’s delivered.

- New parents drowning in tiny clothes and burp cloths
- Recurring cleaning clients who want sheets changed every visit

Laundry Service FAQ
How much is laundry service in The Woodlands?
BrighterHome charges $25 per load for in-home wash, dry and fold. There’s no minimum when you add it to a cleaning visit, and a three-load minimum ($75) for a standalone laundry visit.
Do you pick up and deliver laundry?
No. Our laundry service is done in your home using your washer and dryer. Nothing leaves the house, so there are no bags to hand off and no delivery windows to wait for.
Do you iron clothes?
No, ironing isn’t offered. We hang shirts and dresses as soon as they come out of the dryer to keep wrinkles down, but we don’t iron or press.
Will you change the sheets on our beds?
Yes. Leave fresh sheets out on or near each bed and we’ll strip and remake it. The used linens are then washed, dried and folded as part of your laundry loads.
Can you use our own detergent?
Yes, and we recommend it if anyone in the home has sensitive skin. If you don’t have a preference, we bring an eco-friendly, fragrance-light detergent.
How many loads can you do during a cleaning?
It depends on your machines, but two or three loads during a standard three-hour clean is typical. For bigger piles, a standalone laundry visit or a longer deep cleaning gives us more time.
What happens to delicate or dry-clean-only items?
We set them aside, untouched. We only wash items that are machine-washable per the care label or that you’ve specifically told us are safe to wash.
