Recurring cleaning is our standard house cleaning on a fixed schedule — weekly, every two weeks or once a month — at a lower price per visit. Instead of booking each clean separately, you pick a day and frequency once and we show up on that rhythm. Every visit follows the same house cleaning checklist, and you save 20% on weekly visits, 15% on bi-weekly visits and 10% on monthly visits.
It’s the most popular way Woodlands households use a cleaning service, and for good reason: a home that’s cleaned regularly never gets far behind. Bathrooms don’t build up soap scum, pet hair doesn’t pile into corners, and spring pine pollen gets cleared before it’s ground into rugs. There’s no contract and nothing to sign. If summer travel, a new baby or a houseguest changes your plans, you can skip, reschedule or pause with a quick message.

Weekly vs. bi-weekly vs. monthly cleaning: which schedule fits?
Bi-weekly cleaning is the sweet spot for most Woodlands families; weekly suits homes with kids and pets, and monthly works for smaller or lightly used homes. Here’s how they compare:
| Frequency | Discount | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 20% off every visit | Large families, multiple pets, work-from-home households, anyone who wants it always guest-ready |
| Every 2 weeks | 15% off every visit | Most households — busy couples and families who tidy in between |
| Monthly | 10% off every visit | Singles, couples, smaller homes, or homes where you handle light cleaning yourself |
A quick rule of thumb: if your bathrooms look like they need a scrub after about a week, go weekly or bi-weekly. If the house still feels fine after three weeks, monthly is probably enough. You can always change frequency later — there’s no lock-in. Our blog post on how often you should clean your house goes deeper.
How recurring cleaning pricing works
Your recurring price is our flat standard-clean price minus your frequency discount, and it stays the same every visit. Standard cleaning starts at $129 for a studio or one-bedroom, and a typical three-bedroom, two-bath home is $209 before the discount. Larger homes add +$30, +$60 or +$100 depending on square footage.
- Weekly: 20% off each visit
- Bi-weekly: 15% off each visit
- Monthly: 10% off each visit
- First visit booked online: an extra $25 off
You pay after each clean, not upfront for a month. Add-ons like inside the fridge or laundry can be added to any single visit without changing your plan.
One honest note: if your home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in the last couple of months, the first visit will need more time than a maintenance clean. In that case we’ll recommend starting with a one-time deep clean, then switching to your recurring schedule. That keeps your regular visits affordable and consistent. Why a regular schedule works so well in The Woodlands
The Woodlands’ climate and tree cover make dirt build up faster than in many places, which is exactly why a fixed schedule pays off.
- Pine pollen season. Each spring, a yellow-green film from the area’s pines coats patios, cars and window sills, and it drifts indoors on shoes, pets and clothes. Regular visits keep it off floors and furniture instead of letting it accumulate. Our guide to pollen season cleaning has more tips.
- Humidity. The Gulf Coast’s long, humid summers mean bathrooms stay damp. Showers that are scrubbed every week or two are far less likely to develop mildew in grout and caulk.
- Mineral spots. Water spots on glass shower doors and faucets come off easily when they’re fresh and get stubborn when they’re left for months.
- Active households. Pathways, sports fields and dog parks mean a lot of outdoor life tracked indoors.
A recurring schedule handles all of this a little at a time — so your home never needs a rescue.
Consistency you can count on
Recurring clients get the same checklist, the same standards and, whenever scheduling allows, the same cleaner or team every visit. Consistency is what makes a recurring service worth it: your cleaner learns that the guest bath barely gets used, the dog sleeps on the left side of the couch and the kitchen island needs extra attention after Taco Tuesday.
We keep notes on your home’s preferences — products to avoid, rooms to skip, where the vacuum shouldn’t go — so you only have to explain once. If you ever want something done differently, tell us and it goes into your home’s notes for every future visit.
Because our cleaners are background-checked, trained employees, and BrighterHome is fully insured and bonded, you’re not inviting a different stranger into your home each time. And every visit is covered by our 24-hour re-clean guarantee.

Recurring Cleaning FAQ
Is there a contract for recurring cleaning?
No. There's nothing to sign and no cancellation fee. You can skip a visit, change frequency, move your day or cancel entirely. We just ask for reasonable notice so we can adjust your cleaner's schedule.
How much do I save with bi-weekly cleaning?
Bi-weekly visits are 15% off our standard flat price. Weekly visits save 20% and monthly visits save 10%. The discount applies to every visit for as long as you stay on that schedule.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
We schedule recurring clients with the same cleaner or team whenever possible. If your regular cleaner is out sick or on vacation, we'll send another trained BrighterHome employee who works from your home's notes.
Can I skip a visit when I travel?
Yes. Just let us know ahead of time. Many Woodlands families skip a visit or two over summer travel or the holidays and pick right back up when they return.
Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring service?
Not always. If your home has been professionally cleaned recently, we can start straight into recurring visits. If it's been a few months or longer, a first-time deep clean brings everything up to a baseline that regular visits can maintain.
What day of the week can you come?
We clean Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm. Pick the day that works best when you book; weekday mornings tend to have the most availability.
Can I add extras to a recurring visit?
Yes. Add-ons like inside the fridge, inside the oven, blinds, laundry or interior windows can be added to any individual visit for $25–45 each, without changing your regular plan.
